Veterans Mountain Run Sponsored by Budweiser Event Schedule Announced

 

Friday June 25th

10:00a-2:00pm Vendor Set-up

 

1:45pm all vehicles removed from inside event area

 

2:00pm Event gate opens to motorcycles only. All tent camping equipment must be ridden or carried into camping area.

 

5:00pm The Ultimate Rock & Roll Party will open with the guitar sounds of The Roby Duron band. With Roby opening the event, Friday will be a string bending night like no other. The Roby Duron Band is an L..A. based Rock and Roll band that plays a mix of great rock and blues music influenced by 60's, 70's and 80's.

 

8:00-11:00pm the great rock and blues of CHEAP SUNGLASSES featuring former Megadeth and Frank Zappa Lead guitarist MIKE ALBERT. When Mike takes a break from his own metal band 'Mike Albert Project' he is the featured guitarist with Cheap Sunglasses tribute to ZZtop and great blues songs. They are sure to blow the top off the 2010 Veterans Mountain Run Friday night Pre-party.

Saturday June 26th

8:00am Event gate will open

 

9:45am National Anthem

 

10:00am Scenic Poker Run KSU with color guard escort to the first stop.

 

2:00pm Southern California Kick-ass Classic Rock band REIGN. Last year Reign rocked the house and they are coming back again. This year they will kick off the Saturday lineup as they set the party mood on it's head with thier high energy sound.

 

2:00-4:00pm Bike Show check-in

 

5:00pm There is a history, a legacy and a brotherhood that comprise the soul of the America Biker. Those are the same elements that make up The Charlie Brechtel Band. Charlie will take us into a world that began in America's post WWII years, screamed through the 50s and 60s and has evolved into one of the most powerful and envied sub-cultures that this country has ever produced. His music pays homage to the biker lifestyle in a way that no other musician has ever done. Charlie Brechtel weaves the personalities who pioneered this way of life into the heart of all of his songs.

8:00-11:00pm Veterans Mountain Run regulars will always remember the ever run popular Joe Walla.  aka Reverend J. Wicked III will be back again bangin' the strings with his American Rock and Roll. Joe has been leveling venues all over Southern California with his explosive sound and has developed a huge and rabid following. Joe's amazing guitar work and unique whiskey voice have garnered much critical praise and numerous awards.
